Adding your facility to Stortech is quick and straightforward. This creates your business profile that customers will see when booking units.

What You'll Need

  • Facility name and address

  • Contact phone number

  • Business email address

  • Operating hours

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Navigate to Facilities

  • Log in to your Stortech account

  • Go to Facilities from the main dashboard

  • Click "Create New Facility"

Step 2: Enter Basic Information

Facility Name

  • Enter your business name as customers should see it

  • This appears on invoices and customer communications

Contact Details

  • Business phone number (customers will call this)

  • Primary email address (for customer inquiries)

Step 3: Add Your Address

Using Address Autocomplete

  • Start typing your facility address

  • Select the correct address from the dropdown

  • The system automatically fills city, province, and postal code

Important: Make sure the address is accurate - customers use this for navigation.

Step 4: Set Operating Hours

Configure when customers can reach you:

  • Office hours (when staff is available)

  • Access hours (when customers can access units)

  • Preferred language (English or French)

Step 5: Save Your Facility

  • Review all information for accuracy

  • Click "Create Facility"

  • You'll be redirected to your facility dashboard

After Creating Your Facility

Once your facility is created, you'll see it in your facilities list. The next critical step is tax configuration.

Important: Configure taxes BEFORE creating any units to avoid billing issues.

Common Issues

Can't find address in dropdown

  • Check your internet connection

  • Verify the address exists in Google Maps

  • Try entering it differently (street number first)

Missing "Create Facility" button

  • Ensure you're logged in as an account owner

  • Check that Stripe Connect setup is initiated

  • Contact support if you need permission changes
