Overview

Your facility dashboard is the central hub for monitoring your storage business. It provides at-a-glance metrics, upcoming events, and quick access to important tasks.

Accessing Your Dashboard

Log in to Stortech, select your facility from "My Sites" (if you have multiple), and click "Dashboard" in the left sidebar (under Operations).

Dashboard Layout

The dashboard is organized into key sections: Top Metrics (financial and occupancy overview), Upcoming Arrivals & Departures (customer move-ins and move-outs), and Invoices to Collect (payment tracking).

Top Metrics Section

Monthly Revenue: Shows total rental income for the current month. A green arrow indicates revenue increased from last month, while a red arrow means it decreased. The percentage shows month-over-month change.

Balances to Collect: Shows total amount owed across all unpaid invoices, including unpaid monthly rentals, overdue invoices, pending first-time payments, and late fees.

Occupancy Rate: Shows the percentage of units currently rented. 0-40% is considered low, 40-60% average, 60-80% good, 80-95% excellent, and 95-100% means your facility is full.

Upcoming Arrivals & Departures

This section shows customers moving in or moving out soon. Use the All tab to see everything, Arrivals tab for move-ins, and Departures tab for move-outs. Each entry shows the customer name, unit number, timeframe, and an action menu.

Invoices to Collect

Shows recent unpaid invoices requiring attention. The All tab shows all invoices, Open shows current unpaid invoices, and Overdue shows past-due invoices requiring follow-up.

Reading Your Dashboard Like a Pro

Morning Routine (5 Minutes): Check occupancy rate, review balances to collect, scan upcoming events, and check notifications.

Weekly Deep Dive (30 Minutes): Review open invoices, follow up on overdue payments, plan for arrivals, schedule departures, and analyze occupancy trends.

Common Questions

Why is my occupancy rate 0%? You haven't created any bookings yet, or all bookings are "Upcoming" status.

What does the percentage mean on Monthly Revenue? It shows how revenue compares to the previous month.

How often does the dashboard update? Most metrics update in real-time. Monthly revenue updates daily at midnight.
