Access hours are the hours during which your tenants can enter the facility to reach their unit. You configure them once, in a day-by-day editor, and Stortech automatically generates a readable label (for example "Mon to Fri 9 am to 6 pm, Sat 9 am to 5 pm, closed Sun") that appears in the same spot on the lease, on your storefront, and in the customer portal. No more retyping the text in several places.
Who this article is for
Editing facility settings requires the Owner or Manager role. If the tab doesn't appear, ask an Owner on your team.
Configuring your hours
Step 1.
From the left menu, open your facility's Settings.
Step 2.
Click the Access hours tab.
Step 3.
For each day of the week, enter the opening and closing time.
Step 4.
A day with no access: turn on Closed for that day.
Step 5.
Access at all times: turn on 24/7 access. Per-day hours are then ignored.
Step 6.
If your doors are closed on statutory holidays, turn on Closed on holidays.
Step 7.
Click Save. The change takes effect immediately.
The Preview label updates live, and the confirmation toast appears after saving.
How the label is generated
Based on what you enter, Stortech composes a clear sentence:
24/7 access gives "Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."
Consecutive days with the same hours are grouped: "Mon to Fri 9 am to 6 pm."
A closed day shows as "… closed," and if every day is closed, the label simply becomes "Closed."
Closed on holidays adds ", closed on holidays" at the end.
Where the label appears
The same label is automatically reused:
on the lease your customers sign (access hours variable);
on your facility's page on the public storefront;
in your tenants' customer portal.
Good to know
Until you configure your hours here, the lease uses the old free-text description you may have typed by hand, if any. As soon as you save structured hours, that version is used everywhere.
No email is sent and no billing is affected: changing your access hours only updates the displayed information.
