Report: Site Inspection

Read-only walk list: status, access, inspection task, and notes, to prep a site visit.

Written by Etienne Champagne

The Site Inspection report is a read-only walk list that brings together, for each unit, its status, the health of its gate access, its inspection task status, and its latest note. It's built to prep a site visit without opening every unit individually.

Where to find the report

Step 1.
In the left menu, open Analytics, then Reports.

Step 2.
Under the Occupancy category, click Site Inspection.

Choosing which units show

All units (default).

To inspect.

Overlocked.

Vacant and unrentable.

What the report contains

Each row is a unit:

Unit, Unit type, and Size.

Status and Tenant in place, if applicable.

Overlocked. Indicates whether the unit is under overlock, and since when.

Access. The health of the gate access (OK or Issue).

Inspection. The inspection task status: not required, to do, in progress, or completed, with its due date.

Last inspection and its note.

Operational note for the unit.

The total at the top of the report shows the number of units to inspect, in progress, overlocked, and with an access issue.

What the report doesn't do

Read-only. This report doesn't start, complete, or modify an inspection. To complete an inspection, use the usual booking or task flow.

No balances. Tenant balances are deliberately excluded. Use the accounts-receivable reports for financial review.

No license plate. Stortech doesn't yet keep a structured license plate field on the unit or contact, so this report can't sort by plate.

Export or print

Click Export in the report header to choose CSV or Excel workbook (.xlsx). Print generates a paper or PDF version, handy for a walk on site.

Who this article is for
